Critical Worker Benefit Phase 2


Critical Worker Benefit for Phase 2 provides a one time payment to eligible workers of $1200


Worker Eligibility

  • Legally worked in Alberta and accumulated 300 paid hours (can include overtime and worked holiday hours) with an eligible employer from October 12 2020 - Jan 31 2021

  • The worker has to have earned a regular wage of $25 or less for the 300 hours

  • Commission, tips, bonuses are not included in wage


Eligible Employers for Private Sector

  • truck transportation, primarily engaged in the transportation of goods

  • crop production, animal production or aquaculture directly involved in the production of food for human consumption

  • funeral homes, cemeteries and crematoria

  • security guards

  • light duty cleaners, janitors and specialized cleaners working in commercial, institution and industrial locations

  • taxi drivers

  • workers in full-service restaurants and limited services eating places – workers must be primarily involved in the preparation, cooking or service delivery in an eligible establishment

  • not eligible: drinking places that do not serve food onsite

시간당 급여가 $25이하이고 앨버타내에서 일을 하여야 합니다.

주정부 사이트 가서 신청가능하며 2021/7/23 까지 신청하여야 합니다.

- social services sector employers :주정부에서 직접 고용주 연락하여 처리한다.

- private sector workers ;고용주가 직접 신청하여야 한다.

아래 업종이 해당된다.
