Alberta Jobs Now Program - November Intake
Eligible employers
Employers must:
Be incorporated (for businesses and some non-profit organizations), have a registered Trade Name (for sole proprietors) or be registered under an act of the legislature of a province or the Parliament of Canada.
Be located and operational in Alberta.
Be hiring for new or vacant positions for at least 52 weeks.
Provide safe working conditions, be in good standing and comply with the Employment Standards Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Workers’ Compensation Act and all other applicable legislation and regulations.
Have met or currently meet all obligations to the province under previous grant agreements
New Hire Eligibility
Eligible businesses will be able to hire new employees that meet the following criteria.
A new hire of the employer.
New hires must be hired on or after program announcement date (May 19, 2021).
The start date for new hires can be no longer than 90 calendar days after the application approval and new hire information should be submitted within 30 calendar days after the new hire’s start.
A previous employee of the employer can be considered a new hire, provided they have not been working for the employer applicant, part or full-time for the past 90 days.
Resident of and will be working in Alberta during the grant period.
A Canadian citizen, a permanent resident or protected persons under the Canadian Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, who is legally entitled to work in Canada
The Alberta Jobs Now Program allows for original new hires to be “replaced” twice with other eligible new hires during the grant duration. When this happens, you will be required to report this to the Government of Alberta and submit the new employee's email on the portal.
Grant Amount
Eligible employers applying for the grant may receive funding equal to 25% of the new hire’s annual salary, up to a maximum of $25,000 per new hire.
If a new hire has a disability, the employer is eligible for a grant up to 37.5% of the new hire’s annual salary, or up to a maximum of $37,500
You can hire up to 10 new hires for this program
Payment Method
Funding may be provided to approved employers in two payments. Employers will receive 50% of their grant funding three months after the new hire has started working, and the remaining 50% after confirming the new hire has completed 52 weeks of employment.
New businesses and organizations incorporated within the six months prior to application will receive 25% of grant funding at three months and 75% at 52 weeks
Or employers can choose to receive 100% all at the end of 52 weeks
The employer is required to submit paystubs at three months and 52 weeks, to accommodate the two-payment schedule. If only one payment is preferred, the employer is only required to submit all the final paystubs after 52 weeks

신규 고용 자격조건
자격이 되는 기업은 아래 기준을 충족하는 신규 직원을 고용할 수 있습니다.
고용주의 신규 고용이여야 함
신규 채용 프러그램 발표일 (2021년 5월 19일) 이후 채용 해야함
신규 채용의 시작일은 승인 후 90일 이내이며, 채용 정보는 신규 채용이 시작된 후 30일 이내에 제출해야 함
이전 직원은 지난 90일 동안 파트타임 또는 풀타임으로 일했으며, 신규직원으로 신청하지 않았다면 신규고용으로 간주될 수 있음
보조금 기간동안 알버타에 거주하며 근무 예정이여야 함
캐나다 시민권자, 영주권자, 워크퍼밋 등 캐나다에서 합법적으로 일할 수 있는 자격이 있는 사람이여야 함
Alberta Jobs Now Program 은 기존 신규고용을 자격요건을 가춘 다른 신규고용으로 두번 교체할 수 있습니다. 이 경우에는 알버타주에 보고하고 포털에 새 직원의 이메일을 제출해야 합니다.
보조금
보조금을 신청하는 고용주는 신입사원 연봉의 25%에 해당하는 자금을 최대 $25,000 까지 받을 수 있음
신입사원에게 장애가 있을 경우 연봉의 최대 37.5%, 그리고 최대 $37,500 까지 보조금을 받을 수 있음
최대 10명의 신입사원을 고용할 수 있음
지급방법
지원금은 승인된 고용주에게 두번에 걸쳐 제공되며, 신입사원이 3개월 근무 후 보조금의 50%를 받고, 나머지는 직원이 52주간의 고용을 마쳤을 때 받을 수 있음
신청 전 6개월 이내에 설립된 신규 비지니스는 3개월 후 25%, 52주 후 75%를 받게 됨
또는 고용주의 선택에 따라 52주 완료 후 100% 전액을 받을 수도 있음
고용주는 보조금을 받기 위해 기간에 따른 급여명세서를 제출해야 함
